Miri and Christian Cervantes founded Calienna after nearly two decades in the creative industries of New York and London. Christian, originally from Southern California, built brands and teams as a designer and creative director at the internationally renowned agency Mother. Miri, from Tyrol in Austria, studied the business of design in New York, worked in strategy, and later trained at McQueen’s School of Flowers in London, where she immersed herself in plants and floristry.

The name Calienna brings together the worlds that shaped them. From California comes warmth, openness, and play. From Vienna comes sophistication, depth, and craft. The result is something new, a cultural space that is welcoming yet refined, playful yet thoughtful, open yet rooted.

For Miri and Christian, growth is not an abstract idea but a way of living. It has guided their creative work, their travels, their relationships, and their inner practice of reflection. Calienna is the extension of that commitment, a space where personal and professional paths converge.
