STORE MANAGER

We are looking for a special individual to come and join our team in the very important role as Calienna’s store manager. We are a small yet capable team that is growing in exciting ways and we require someone with the same level of overall conciousness, passion, enthusiasm, strong work ethic, discipline, and kindness that all of our team members exhibit day-in and day-out. We are proud to be located at our cherished address on Neubaugasse in the middle of Vienna’s creative 7th district and equally proud of the amazing customers we get to serve daily.
JOB DESCRIPTION
In your role as a store manager, you are an important face of our brand and have the exciting mission to further build Calienna’s presence in Vienna. You lead your team in a role model function and put our philosophy and goals in the store into action with your team every day.
We will soon expand our store concept further beyond plants and will offer an even more dimensional experience at Calienna. In this new role, you will have the opportunity to work as an important part of an exciting concept that is always growing with new experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Selling and product consultation
· Reaching sales targets, analysis of revenue reports
· Managing and planning staff schedules, and absences
· Leading team meetings and trainings
· Supporting in answering of customer service emails/calls
· Overseeing of product inventory / inventory management / ordering of certain product categories
· Delegating daily tasks to team, where needed
· Quality control of product/receiving inventory
· Maintenance of visual merchandising
· Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times
ABOUT YOU / Skills & Qualifications
You have a few years of work experience in retail and at least 2+ years experience as a store manager or assistant store manager
You are:
· Enthusiastic about plants, design, people and more!
· Self-motivated and a professional sales talent with high standards of lasting customer satisfaction
· An excellent team player and combine warmth and friendliness with professionalism and reliability
· Highly organized, tidy and clear in your working methods
· Proactive in your planning skills
· Introspective and excited to learn, grow and share your knowledge with others
· Fluent in spoken and written German, as well as fluent in spoken English
· Able to lift and carry without assistance (30kg)
SCHEDULE
· Full time: You will be expected to work approx. 35-38.5 hours/week
· Availability on most weekdays and some Saturdays are required
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Min. salary starting at €2.400,00 Brutto for 38.5 hours/week with potential for overpay based on candidate’s level of experience

Durch deine Leidenschaft für Pflanzen und unsere Produkte, sowie dein Know-How, und deine Freude daran unseren Kunden das beste Service zu bieten, bereicherst du unser Team täglich mit deinem Einsatz.
Da wir bald unser Konzept, über Pflanzen hinaus erweitern, bleiben deine Aufgabenfelder vielfältig und spannend.
DEINE AUFGABEN
· Verkauf und Beratung
· Tägliche Verwaltung des Stores — inkl. Erstellen von Schichtplänen inkl. Urlaubsplanung and Abwesenheit, sowie die Sicherstellung, dass pünktlich aufgeschlossen wird
· Übersicht über die Produktauswahl im Store, Überblick über den Lagerbestand, sowie die Bestellung bestimmter Produktgruppen
· Planung von Lieferungen, Qualitätskontrolle und Warenannahme
· Erreichen von realistischen Umsatzzielen, Analyse von Umsatzberichten
· Führen von Teammeetings und Einschulungen
· Beantworten von Kundenservice Emails und Anrufen
· Delegieren täglicher Aufgaben, falls notwendig
· Store Merchandising
· Sauberkeit im Store und den Lagerbereichen sicherstellen
ÜBER DICH / Was dich besonders macht
Du:
· Hast schon ein paar Jahre Arbeitserfahrung im Handel und hast mindestens 2+ Jahre als Store Manager oder Assistent Store Manager gearbeitet
· Liebst Pflanzen, Design, Menschen und mehr!
· Bist ein professionelles Verkaufstalent, und hast Freude daran Kundenwünsche zu erfüllen
· Du bist ein Teamplayer, unterstützt deine Kollegen bei täglichen Aufgaben, und zeigst Verantwortungsbewusstsein
· Du bist lösungsorientiert, behältst einen ruhigen Kopf und stehst immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite
· Du hast Liebe zum Detail — so stellst du sicher, dass die Präsentation deines Stores immer makellos ist und bist generell organisiert
· Du sprichst fließend Deutsch und kannst dich auch auf Englisch verständigen
· Du hast kein Problem damit hin und wieder schwere Dinge zu heben (bis zu 30 kg)
TIMINGS
· Vollzeit Anstellung (35 bis 38,5 Stunden/Woche)
· Du bist flexibel und kannst auch an manchen Samstagen arbeiten

Full-time Junior Sales Assistant
Do you love plants/nature? Do you love art, design, music, conscious living, coffee (or tee) (or hot chocolate) and being around fun-loving yet hard-working individuals?
We are looking for a full-time addition to the Calienna team. It’s really important for us to find the right vibe, so we’ve listed some things to below to consider before applying.
Requirements:
· a genuinely good human being with a positive, open attitude, has a desire to grow/learn and who is very dependable
· works well on a team
· retail experience (or the ability to learn quickly)
· a deep love of plants and a knowledgeable base of plant care (professional plant care experience is a big plus)
· German fluency (English is a plus)
Daily activities include (but not limited to):
· helping customers find the best options for their needs
· assisting the team with plant care and general store maintenance (watering, cleaning, lifting, sweeping, moving, organizing, wrapping…)
